Nestrans, the North East Transport Scotland Transport Partnership, is making four electric Christiania Bikes available for a free trial of up to one year. The project is one of the elements of the forthcoming introduction of a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) in the city centre later this year.
One of the first takers was Community Food Initiatives, who hired one to complement their fleet of four cargobikes, due to increased demand for their emergency food deliveries.
