Des Anges Pacôme les autres is a French charity that aids families with children suffering from Angelman’s Syndrome, a neurodegenerative condition characterized by severe intellectual and developmental disability.
They have recently made a short film of how they use the Christiania S/Box which has been developed exactly for the transport of children with special needs.
As the text says at the end,
As all parents, parents of disabled children wish to keep active without sacrificing time spent with family members. It is important for both parents and children to engage in activities apart from nursing and education. The blossoming of children depends on these leisure activities. We are convinced that these bicycle rides help develop the socialisation of the child, her ability to communicate and her integration at the heart of the family.
